The Intern: Logistics program is a 12-month learnership registered with the FoodBev SETA, designed to provide graduates with practical workplace experience in logistics, supply chain, and operations management. This opportunity allows interns to gain exposure to the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics processes that ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials across the business. The program emphasizes professional growth, operational efficiency, and the development of skills that are essential for building a career in logistics and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination of logistics and supply chain activities
• Support inventory management and distribution processes
• Contribute to planning and scheduling of deliveries to meet operational requirements
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of logistics transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient flow of goods and materials
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics and supply chain performance

Qualifications

• South African citizen aged between 18 and 35
• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy passed at a minimum of 40%
• Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language at 40%
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Transportation
• Unemployed and not previously completed the same qualification or learnership at another company
• Candidates who meet Employment Equity guidelines are preferred
